Game mechanics

Fisherman's Hut
Allows players to fish every 30 minutes and get rewarded for it. You must have at least 1 fishing rod to fish. By owning a Fisherman's Hut, the player automatically gets access to a basic fishing rod.

Trading
You can visit the Emporium (trading center) to trade with the Merchant! The Merchant is an NPC who sells exotic goods, resources, and items. Limited items allow you to advance faster in the game or join play with special mechanics.

Construction
Each player starts with 1 builder in their city.

  • The Town Hall is the only building to accommodate builders. The Town Hall must reach level 11 before the player can place multiple builders in their town. Each builder can only work on constructing one building at a time.

All buildings in the Ancient Society are built to produce certain resources. 

  •  ANCIEN is the primary currency in the Ancient Society. Only the Town Hall produces ANCIEN.

  • ANCIENWOOD is the resource produced by Lumberjacks.

  • ANCIENSTONE is the Stone Mine resource.

Resources can be traded on the in-game market.

Lands
There are two types of lands in Ancient Society:

  • Server Lands are common free lands that allow players to start building and developing their empires; they do not produce additional resources for the landowner or the cities living there. Server lands do not belong to the player and are public (any player can join).

  • Ancient Lands are lands limited in number that give bonuses and privileges to players who own them. They produce additional resources. Ancient lands can be public (open to all) or private (invite only).

Land owners will receive royalties from the cities located on their Ancient Land. Each land will bring in a passive amount of WRLD in-game currency.

Alliances
Creating an alliance costs a certain amount of ANCIEN tokens and will allow for a limited number of places for players. Players can participate in major wars, conquest missions, and other game mechanics to be developed. 

You can leave alliances at any time. After this, you will be “frozen” for 72 hours. You cannot join another alliance until this time has elapsed. 

In the Age of War, alliances can unite for PvP battles. Each alliance has a private chat room where you can discuss strategies and convenient deals.

Battles
Troops can wage wars, steal resources, and fight in 1-on-1 and team combat modes with an alliance.

  • Conquest PvP. The victorious city receives the resources of the defeated city.

  • Incursion PvP. Towns can strenuously defend their resources against potential attacks with warehouses. 

Quests
Daily Quests. Each week players will complete more difficult quests to earn chest fragments. The chests contain valuable items. 

Colonies
Colonies will appear as players progress through the Ancient Society. Colonies will effectively be additional cities. The experience points accumulated in the cities and colonies will be added together to represent the player's total experience points.
