Academy
The player learns the basics of chess by solving problems and puzzles on the chessboard, such as how to checkmate an opponent in a certain number of moves or to sacrifice pieces intelligently. Each academy is called a "tower" and there are 21 of them.

Playing against a computer
There are several difficulty levels available in this mode: very easy, easy, medium, and hard. After defeating the AI and completing a task, such as "defeat in 50 moves," you get keys that unlock various rewards.

Summoning (the breeding mechanism)
You will need NFTs to play the game. NFT parents are limited to 4 crossbreeds and have no gender. The only thing "spawns" inherit is the chance to summon a common/rare/epic/legendary/epic guardian. Generations have a chance to breed successfully, and that chance depends on their rarity, e.g. zero generation has a 100% chance for all rarities, and the first generation is already 90%/85%/80%/75%/70%.

Online play
Players compete against other similarly ranked players in a variety of online modes: 

• Tavern: Players determine the rules and place bets. Hints and boosters are allowed during the game.

• Bullet: Each player has 30 seconds or 1 minute to play.

• Blitz: Each player has 3 or 5 minutes to play.

• Rapid: Each player has 10 or 15 minutes per game.

• Easy Tempo: 1 minute per turn, with no time limit per match.
